Dean Norris as Hank Schrader

Veteran TV and film actor Dean Norris portrays Hank Schrader, a DEA agent who is also Walter White's brother-in-law, in AMC's new original series Breaking Bad.

Norris states that he took on the role because "Hank is kind of the opposite of Walt. Hank likes to drink, carry big guns, shoot first and ask questions later. And that's what attracted me to the role, the contrast between Hank and Walt."

Norris' most recent movie credits include The Heartbreak Kid, Little Miss Sunshine, and Evan Almighty. He will also be seen in the upcoming Linewatch. His many film roles include The Negotiator, Starship Troopers, The Firm, The Cell, Gattaca, The Last Seduction, Total Recall, Lethal Weapon 2 and Terminator 2.

On television, Norris has played recurring characters in The West Wing, 24, Windfall, American Dreams, Nash Bridges, The Pretender and JAG. He has had memorable roles in Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Without a Trace, Cold Case and Nip/Tuck.

Born and raised in South Bend, IN, Norris graduated from Harvard University and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He calls Los Angeles home.
